Rachel LaRen Reveals New Track "Hangin' the Moon"

Rachel LaRen, a rising country music artist from East Texas, has released her latest single "Hangin' the Moon" on January 31, 2025. This new track showcases LaRen's signature "Whimsical Western" sound, which blends traditional country elements with a fresh, modern perspective.

This latest track follows 2023's singles "Lonestar Lonely" and "Off the Record," the latter of which featuring a collaboration with fellow country artist, Max Woolery. Her debut EP "Cowboys Don't Change", released in 2022, includes popular track "John Wayne," which has amassed over 1M listens on Spotify alone.

LaRen's musical journey began in her hometown of Gun Barrel, Texas, where she started singing at a young age. After initially pursuing other career paths, she rediscovered her passion for music and taught herself to play guitar. In 2021, LaRen made her debut in the country music scene with the release of her first two singles, "Jesus and Me" and "Common Man".

Since then, LaRen has been steadily building her career in Nashville, Tennessee, where she currently resides.
