Jessica Lynn Unveils Track "16 Miles" as Part of New Album "All I Own"

Jessica Lynn, a Brooklyn-born country artist and songwriter, has released her new song "16 Miles" in January 2025 as part of her highly anticipated album "All I Own". The track, described as a "musician's prayer," was written during a lonely tour stop on a ranch surrounded by 16 miles of nothingness. In the song, Lynn uses the metaphor of her surroundings to tell a story of holding onto faith in music, even during the most isolated moments.
"All I Own" is Lynn's second full-length album, following her debut "Lone Rider" which was released in 2022. The new album consists of 10 tracks that showcase Lynn's versatility as an artist, blending country, rock, blues, and Latin influences. Other notable tracks from the album include the lead single "Something 'Bout You," a heartwarming tribute to falling in love with her husband.
Lynn's journey to creating "All I Own" was not without challenges. Following a routine sinus surgery that led to postoperative complications and muscle tension dysphonia (MTD), she faced the possibility of losing her voice and career. Determined to overcome this setback, Lynn recorded the album in short, intense 10-minute vocal bursts during her recovery.
Throughout her career, Lynn has shared stages with renowned artists such as Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, ZZ Top and Loretta Lynn. She has also made a name for herself through her energetic live performances and three full-length nationwide concert television specials. In true country music tradition, Jessica's band consists of family members, with her dad on bass, mom on background vocals, and husband on lead guitar.
Beyond her music career, Lynn is known for her philanthropic efforts, and as an advocate for the U.S. military, the arts, animals, and as a mentor for young women and children worldwide, she was invited to The United Nations for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. She also became a consultant for the U.S. Department of State's American Voices program, traveling worldwide as a cultural ambassador.
With the release of "All I Own" and "16 Miles," Jessica Lynn continues to solidify her position as a rising star in the country music scene, showcasing her resilience, versatility, and dedication to her craft.
